
Today we will prepare Indian masala tea, which has become very popular not only in India, but also far beyond its borders. Now you can often see it on the menu of almost every cafe, with a wide range of drinks.
But it can be easily and simply prepared at home!
Ingredients:
- milk - 250 ml
- water - 250 ml
- black tea - 1 tbsp. l.
- star anise (anise) - 2-3 stars
- cardamom - 1/2 tsp.
- cloves - 4-5 buds
- ginger - 1/4 tsp.
- cinnamon - 1-2 sticks or 1/2 tsp.
In general, the amount and composition of spices can be changed according to your wishes. But I advise you to make according to the recipe for the first time, and then adapt it to your taste.
How to cook:
Take a saucepan or ladle and pour water and milk into it.
You can cook with just one milk, but it seems tastier to me if you mix it 1:1 with water.
Add black tea brew immediately to cold milk.
And now we send all the spices and sugar there:
We mix. We put the pan on the stove and cook until it boils. We do not go anywhere for a long time so that the milk does not run away!
Strain through a sieve into a beautiful teapot and serve hot. Have a delicious tea party!
