In order to prepare perfect donuts that will not absorb a lot of vegetable oil, some nuances must be taken into account.
Constituents
- 200 ml of warm milk;
- 100 ml of warm water;
- dry yeast;
- 1 Art. l. sugar;
- 1 tsp. salt and butter;
- 1 egg;
- 4 cups of flour.
How to cook donuts?
You need to dissolve sugar and 10-11 g of yeast in warm water. The mixture should be left for ten minutes until foam appears on the surface.
Warm milk should be mixed with oil, and then a little flour should be poured into the container. The last procedure should be done in parts.
Then you can proceed to kneading the dough.
After that, add salt and flour, softened butter to the mixture.
The dough should be well kneaded, and then left for an hour in a warm place.
The next stage is to divide the dough into portioned pieces from which donuts are formed. However, it is not necessary to send them to fry immediately.
Dough balls need to be infused for about 10 minutes. It is advisable to cover the dough.
After that, the donuts should be fried in vegetable oil on both sides.
When they cool, they can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or covered with chocolate.
