No one is immune from ear diseases. Scientists have told what symptoms can herald hearing loss.

The publication gives the opinion of specialists about ear diseases, as well as about those phenomena that can be observed before hearing loss. Before that, Polish actress Rula Lenska, who began to suffer from hearing problems after scuba diving in the Caribbean, told her story.

"I was diving near the coral. Being a living organism, it can get into the ear and damage the eyelashes there - tiny hairs. This can cause hearing loss. Soon after my vacation, an infection appeared - because of which the ear began to ache painfully," the actress said.

Doctors then prescribed Kerma strong antibiotics, but, as the actress admitted, her road to recovery "took forever."
Commenting on the case of Rula Lenska, British doctors noted that an ear infection, which can lead to severe consequences such as hearing loss, can overtake any person.

"Hearing loss most often occurs due to earwax, infection, perforated eardrum or Meniere's disease, which is a lesion of the inner ear. Such a violation manifests itself in attacks of labyrinthine dizziness, tinnitus, hearing loss," the experts said.

According to them, such a symptom as difficulties in understanding human speech in noisy places can be harbingers of a problem. If at the same time increased concentration is required to understand a person, you need to be careful and consult a doctor.

If a person has difficulty tuning into a conversation in a large room with background noise and music, this is also a warning sign, experts said.
