The leading regions in electric car registrations and their bestsellers are named

In the first quarter of 2024, almost 11,9 cars with electric power plants (BEVs) were added to the Ukrainian fleet. This is more than 2 times more than in the same period last year. This is evidenced by the data of Ukravtoprom.

The highest indicators of electric vehicle registrations were demonstrated by:

1. city ​​of Kyiv - 1624 units. (61% used);
2. Lviv region - 1612 units. (86% used);
3. Dnipropetrovsk region. - 935 units (72% used);
4. Kyiv region - 858 units. (67% used);
5. Odesa region - 746 units (72% used).

Among the new cars, the most popular electric car in all these markets was the Volkswagen ID.4.

In the segment of used cars imported from abroad:

• Tesla Model 3 - in Kyiv and the region and in the Dnipropetrovsk region;
• Nissan Leaf - in Lviv Oblast and Odesa Oblast.

As reported, in March, Ukrainians bought and registered more than 4,4 battery-powered cars (BEVs). The bulk of electric vehicles registered for the month were passenger cars - 4337 units. (new - 900 units, used - 3437 units).
