Ryan Gosling became one of the most popular actors in Hollywood thanks to the role of Ken in the highest-grossing movie "Barbie", recreated the performance of Marilyn Monroe.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Styler project) after comparing Gosling's performance at the Oscars 2024 and Marilyn Monroe in the movie "Gentlemen Choose a Blonde."

During his performance at the Oscars 2024 with the song "I'm Just Ken", Ryan Gosling recreated a scene from the movie "Gentlemen Choose Blonde", which starred Marilyn Monroe.
Gosling decided to surprise the audience and wore a pink outfit and walked down the stairs between men in black tuxedos, just like Monroe did. But his image was, of course, not a dress, but a bright pink, even crimson suit, which was decorated with stones.

Ryan chose this image for a reason, it is a certain reference to the movie "Barbie", in which he played the main role, and to the work of Marilyn Monroe, who in her time was the one from whom women all over the world took an example.
Her style has always been special, especially her dresses. And, for example, this dress from the movie "Gentlemen Choose Blonde", which became the prototype for Gosling's image, became popular in 1953.

And all because Marilyn performed the famous song "Diamonds are the girl's best friends" in a strapless pink dress made of silk satin with a large decorative bow on the back and long gloves.
