- Choose a variety that is suitable for cultivation in your region. After all, not all plants like early coolness or intense heat;
- At the end of February, it is already necessary to deal with seedlings;
- Eggplants are best grown in a greenhouse. Moreover, seedlings are transferred here already at the beginning of May;
- The earth should be rich and non-acidic;
- Eggplants have a main stem and a side shoot - it will form regardless of whether you pinch the plant or not. You need to remove everything that grows below this side shoot. The fact is that a normal fruit will not be formed here, but the plant still spends a lot of its energy on this part;

Before planting seeds for seedlings, they must be disinfected. To do this, you need to take 100 ml of peroxide per 3 ml of water. Then this mixture is heated to 40C and the seeds are dipped into it for about 10 minutes.
Eggplants should be planted against the walls of the greenhouse, where there will definitely be no drafts. But tomatoes feel great on the middle beds. Ripe fruits should be cut as soon as they have ripened and reached the required size. Do not wait for overripeness.
Also take care of supports for eggplants. The fact is that their fruits are quite powerful and heavy, and therefore often the stems simply cannot withstand and break. To prevent this from happening, you can drive a wooden peg near each plant, to which the stem is carefully attached.
If you do everything right, the plant will thank you with good growth and a rich harvest. Care is very simple - it is necessary to provide good and regular watering, periodically loosen the ground.
