Laser skin rejuvenation

No one has yet managed to avoid the aging process - it is a law of nature. But scientists are constantly developing new methods, such as laser resurfacing, allowing a person's skin to stay young longer.

One of these methods is laser rejuvenation — a procedure that is non-surgical, safe and perfectly compatible with other cosmetic programs. It allows you to restore elasticity to the skin, reduce wrinkles and get rid of pigment spots.

The procedure of fractional laser rejuvenation is based on the fact that under the influence of a laser beam with a certain length, there is a permanent reduction of collagen and elastin fibers. This is due to the selective heating of these substances.

In addition to the effect on the fibers already present in the skin, in the process of rejuvenation, some types of lasers also activate fibroblasts - cells responsible for the formation of new fibers in the skin. Laser fractional rejuvenation is designed to normalize the tone and color of the skin of the décolleté, face and neck, as well as reduce the depth of wrinkles and narrow enlarged pores.

Laser rejuvenation takes place as follows: the patient is put on special glasses to protect the eyes, through which light does not penetrate. After that, the skin is treated with a cooling gel and the rejuvenation process itself begins.

Problem areas are treated with a special device that emits pulses. In the process of laser rejuvenation, no pain is felt - only a slight tingling is felt. The duration of rejuvenation in the salon is 10–40 minutes, depending on the extent of the problem area of the skin.

Laser rejuvenation includes about three to five sessions, between which there is a break of 1-1,5 months. After the procedure, the skin acquires a slight redness, which disappears after one and a half to two hours.

Getting rid of wrinkles with the help of laser rejuvenation is a far from fast and rather time-consuming process, so a course of procedures is required. If, with the help of laser rejuvenation, it is planned to improve the skin color of the face or reduce pigment spots, the effect of the procedure will be visible after the first session.

However, it is impossible to say exactly how many times you will have to visit the cosmetologist's office to achieve your goal, since in each specific case the number of rejuvenation sessions is calculated based on the characteristics, skin type and desired result.

Laser rejuvenation, like most procedures, has a number of contraindications. Yes, it cannot be carried out by those who have oncological diseases, blood and eye diseases, and photodermatoses. And also laser rejuvenation is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women, and owners of tanned skin.

Laser rejuvenation is an excellent alternative to plastic surgery and other radical methods designed to combat various signs of skin aging. Specialists recommend laser rejuvenation after 30 years, when already noticeable wrinkles appear that cannot be removed by other means.
