But, of course, all this beauty has its downsides. After all, just an ordinary rain with gusts of wind can spoil a bike ride, not to mention the fact that as soon as the cold comes, you will have to forget about the bike for several months. And even for six months, if a person lives in cold latitudes, where snowfall and ice are frequent. A long break between sports is obtained.



In addition to this shortcoming, the overall size of the bicycle is added. People living in high-rise buildings will have to make an effort every time to carry the ego there and back every time. Those whose house does not have a freight elevator or no elevator at all are especially unlucky.

And, of course, there is also the fact that this means of transportation carries a certain danger in which the bicycle skids, injuries when falling from it, collisions with other vehicles are possible.

But for real bike lovers, no weather conditions, extreme trips and the threat of dragging your bike to the tenth floor with a broken elevator are not scary.

The main advantage of an exercise bike is its compactness. It does not take up much space and is ready for its services at any time of the day, as it is practically silent and does not require a constant change of location. The world does not stand still and models are already being produced that have the technical ability to fold, which is very valuable for a small apartment. Exercise bikes can be used by people of any weight category, and even people whose weight exceeds one hundred. In addition to these advantages, the exercise bike is equipped with a computer that monitors time, pace, speed, mileage, heart rate, and calories burned. For a home exerciser, you don't need to buy a special sports uniform, it's enough to wear comfortable clothes that don't squeeze, whether it's even pajamas or a bathrobe.

But do not forget the disadvantages of the simulator. The main enemy of this wonderful unit is monotony. Spinning the pedals with a monotonous environment around is a boring activity. Sometimes even music in headphones does not help. If you do not want your exercise bike to collect dust, because your temperament does not tolerate routine and monotony, then, most likely, you should lean towards the bicycle.
