The ever-dancing singer MONATIK visited Tina Karol at the "House of Recording" and told who he loved, what he wore and listened to in his childhood and youth.

The eternally dancing person, Ukrainian singer, dancer and songwriter MONATIK was invited to participate in the show of Tina Karol's author's project "House of Recording". In this project, songs that were unjustly forgotten are being restored. And it was here that a lot of information about MONATIK's childhood and youth "surfaced". All this is reported on the "House of Recording" page on the Instagram social network.

As you know, MONATIK is a very active singer. He is also a participant in the shows "X-Factor", "Everybody is dancing!" and "Star Ring". He was also a judge of the dance show "Dancing with the Stars" and a coach of the vocal shows "Golos Dita" and "Voice of the Country" on the "1+1" TV channel.

That's how active and creative MONATIK has been since childhood and youth. He appeared to Tina Karol at the "House of Records" in a hat, which he calls "Panama pulled up to the mountain", and showed that in his youth he generally wore afro braids. As confirmation, MONATIK provided Tina Karol with his archival photos. And he noted that he grew up listening to hip-hop music. Among them was "Tartak" with the legendary song "Olya la la".

According to the singer, such music strongly motivated them, the b-boys, to move "with their soul and body". And he was very interested in doing a new reading of this legendary song "Olya la la" within the framework of this project. For those who haven't heard yet, there is an opportunity to watch the new release "House of Recording" with the participation of MONATIK and listen to his interpretation of this song.

Among the archival photos from childhood and youth, MONATIK was still a b-boy. He liked wide sports clothes with a free cut, a red headband that he wore on his head, he liked to write everything with markers and, of course, collect posters with the "faces" of those he admired. These are images of celebrities such as Lauren Hill, actors of the television series "Beverly Hills Robbers" (1999) and the American hardcore rap group "Wu-Tang Clan" (founded in 1992).

MONATIK added that the "House of Sound Recording" is important for Ukrainian culture and for him as an artist. First of all, he was interested in accepting such a challenge.
