The joint efforts of Canadian and Iranian specialists have established that fat deposits in the waist area can be a harbinger of early death.

Thus, according to the results of almost a hundred studies, experts determined that the localization of excess fat deposits in the abdominal cavity is associated with the risk of premature death.

In the course of studying this issue, data on the state of health of almost three million people aged 3 to 24 were analyzed. The researchers analyzed the circumference of the waist, hips, as well as their relationship with the total fat reserves in the body of a particular subject.
