Baked mackerel in an unusual marinade

Today we want to share a delicious way to quickly cook mackerel in the oven. Preparation takes no more than 10 minutes.


For cooking we will need:

  • 1 large mackerel
  • 1 Art. l. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 Art. l. ketchup
  • 2 Art. l. soy sauce
  • pinch of salt

1. Gut the fish, remove the head, tail and fins. Wash thoroughly, dry with paper towels and cut crosswise into pieces 2,5-3 cm thick.

2. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade. Coat the pieces of fish and leave to marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator. You can do without marinating and bake immediately, it will also be delicious.

3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. We put the pieces of fish in a greased, heat-resistant form and send it to bake for 30 minutes. At the end of cooking, you can turn on convection for browning.



Fragrant, juicy and very healthy fish is ready. Can be served with any side dish.
