Buick is a well-known American automaker, but in recent years its biggest market has been China. More than 517 cars were sold there last year, compared to just 000 in the United States. This explains why two concept cars - Electra L and Electra LT - debuted in China.

The Electra L is a mid-size sedan, while its Electra LT counterpart takes the form of a stylish Shooting Brake-style station wagon. Both models are built on the GM Ultium architecture.

Electra L is 5036 mm long. The machine stands out with its LED graphics. The rear of the new Buick boasts an integrated spoiler above the taillights. In addition, the Electra L has cameras that replace the mirrors and hidden door handles.

At the same time, the Electra LT is equipped with an adaptive air suspension, which can increase the ground clearance of the electric car by 40 mm if necessary. Four individual seats are installed in the station wagon interior, decorated with ecological upholstery in purple and white shades.

Another interesting feature of the car is a tea table in the back row, which allows passengers to enjoy a cup of tea on the road. A light-sensitive panoramic sunroof, an aroma dispenser and an infotainment system with artificial intelligence support also help to create a pleasant atmosphere in the car interior.

Both concepts are based on the GM Ultium architecture, equipped with a single 342 hp rear electric motor. Buick claims that the new models have a range of more than 700 km, although the capacity of the battery remains unknown. Unfortunately, there are no confirmed dates for the production versions of the Buick Electra L and LT concepts. It is known that the electric cars will be produced by the SAIC-GM joint venture in China.
