Lobsters and oysters from Belarus were not allowed to enter Russia
Almost 700 kg of oysters and lobsters from Belarus did not reach the elite restaurants of the Russian capital.
Russian customs officials found almost 700 kilograms of oysters and lobsters hidden in office furniture on the border with Belarus. Delicacies were taken to elite restaurants in Moscow, the Mash Telegram channel reported on Friday, April 19.
It is noted that the truck with furniture was entering the Russian Federation through the Chervona Girka district. The goods were hidden in compartments with office furniture. Customs officers counted the "catch": 637 kg of oysters, 16 kg of lobsters and 23 kg of king herring. Documents and a veterinary certificate were missing.
