No owner will argue with the statement that pollinating insects are very important for the garden and vegetable garden.
They are especially necessary for those who grow varieties that need to be pollinated and hybrids. Bees are real helpers of summer residents. But what if insects fly around the area sideways?
Syrup for bees
No pollinator can resist sugar syrup. It is easily prepared - 4-5 tbsp. l. of sugar per 1 liter of water. Stir until completely dissolved, pour on saucers and place on important points.
According to experts, the larger the diameter of the plate, the better. If at least one bee finds a treat, it will soon bring many of its companions with it. However, there is one important point that summer residents should consider.
Target pollination
Attracting bees to the plot is easy, but you need to target the insects for targeted help, otherwise they can pollinate everything in a row.
Some gardeners, in addition to sugar, add something else fragrant, for example, anise. But this approach is not suitable.
In order for bees to fly to a specific plant, they need to point to it. It is also easy to do.
For example, you need to pollinate tomatoes. In this case, the flower of this plant is placed in the syrup. If cucumbers need pollination, then a flower of this plant is placed in the solution. The syrup will smell like tomatoes or cucumbers, and this will help orient the bees.
