Soldiers of the 454th OPB Victor Kadalnyk with the call sign "Batya" and Andriy Ganchovsky captured a Tajik in the Melitopol region. The fighters themselves told how it happened.
Early in the morning, the defenders had an "exit" in the Robotyno area to check the outskirts of the settlement, buildings and basements for the presence of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Their attention was drawn to one of the broken houses - the door to it was not closed, but only pushed against the wall.
Kadalnik asked his brothers to cover him, and he himself went to take a closer look. It turned out that an occupant was really hiding in the building.
- I saw that "Batya" had found someone, called me, I came up and immediately took him (Rashista) in the crosshairs. They searched him for weapons. He wanted to take a grenade out of his pocket - he had to put the weapon to his temple so that he wouldn't move. Then he already raised his hands and started talking normally, - said Andriy.
The lost occupier turned out to be a citizen of Tajikistan named Jurabek, he served in the 71st regiment of the Russian Federation as an assault rifleman. The driver began to tell a standard story for the occupiers - he was at the front recently, and in general - he was forced.
According to the Tajik, one more Rashist died - he was blown up on a stretcher, and he himself was able to reach the shelter with an injured leg. He threw the weapon and walkie-talkie on the road, he had a phone, two grenades and two "stores" with him.
- There were two of us, I was wounded, he either hit a mine or was blown up on a stretcher. We were told to come in and wait three days. To what position - I don't know - said the occupier.
