Yuriy Golyk, co-owner of the Creative States co-working network, who created a volunteer team of engineers producing drones, announced on his Facebook page that the line of Ukrainian STING attack drones has been replenished with a new STING Ripper model, resistant to the use of electronic warfare (EW) devices.
According to Golyk, STING Ripper is already being prepared for serial production. It is based on "the most popular kamikaze drone" on a seven-inch frame. At the same time, STING Ripper does not jam REB tools.
"This small and unusual kamikaze quadcopter can safely fly where its ordinary counterparts cannot fly", - noted the volunteer.
The line of "anti-reb" quadcopters includes three devices:
- kamikaze drone on a 7-inch STING Ripper frame;
- kamikaze drone on a 10-inch frame STING Ghost;
- bomber jacket on the STING Mad Max 11-inch frame.
Golyk also noted that this week STING Mad Max drones will enter service with the 3rd separate assault brigade, border guards and another unit of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
We will remind you that Ukrainian developers have presented the advanced drone-bomber "Manichello" - it has already been tested in a real battle with the Russian occupiers. The team reworked the debut working model of the bomber quadcopter, which the Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used on the front line at the end of June. During the mission, the drone was damaged, but thanks to special modules, it was able to independently return to the starting point without the operator's intervention.
