Last year, scientists found the remains of a huge dinosaur named Bustingorrytitan shiva. Now they have published artistic reconstructions of the Cretaceous giant.
The newly discovered 27m-long dinosaur, named after the Hindu god Shiva "the Destroyer", stomped Argentina along with other long-necked "megatitanosaurs" more than 90 million years ago.
Scientists described the huge beast Bustingorrytitan shiva late last year from fossils discovered in western Argentina. Now they've worked with an artist to recreate the Cretaceous Titanosaurus. This is a stockier type of sauropod with a long neck.

According to a study published in the journal Acta Palaeontologica Polonica, B. shiva is one of the largest sauropods ever recorded, with an estimated weight of around 67 tons. It wasn't the largest dinosaur—yes, the estimated weight of Argentinosaurus starts at 77 tons. However, B. shiva, as before, remains a member of the ancient Argentine ecosystem.
