Destructive tornadoes recorded in the USA, there are injured (VIDEO)

The National Weather Service has received at least 60 reports of tornadoes in five US states.

Powerful tornadoes swept through the American states of Nebraska and Iowa. At least three people were injured, the CNN channel reported the day before.

As of 21:30 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service had received at least 60 reports of tornadoes in five states, 19 reports of damaging winds and 45 reports of hail.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds declared a natural disaster for Pottawattamie County yesterday due to the severe weather. The announcement was made to support storm recovery efforts in the city of Minden.

On Friday, a tornado also ripped through the suburbs of Lincoln, Nebraska, tearing roofs off homes.

Several train cars derailed near Waverly, Nebraska after a tornado hit the train.

Severe storms are expected to continue through Sunday, but the most dangerous day could be Saturday, when the threat extends from Michigan to Texas, including Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Dallas, Milwaukee, Chicago and Austin.

It said the storms could bring damaging wind gusts, baseball-sized hail and severe tornadoes.
