Two new products debuted at the Toyota stand at the Beijing Motor Show. The first is a coupe-shaped crossover bZ3C, aimed at a young audience and developed by the joint efforts of Toyota, FAW and BYD. The second is an SUV with standard proportions that another Chinese company, GAC, helped create. And both models are not concepts, but electric cars ready for serial production, sales of which will be launched in China within the next 12 months.

Currently, Toyota has not disclosed the technical characteristics of the bZ3C and bZ3X, but it is known that both electric cars are based on the same platform. The bZ3C shares some similarities with the bZ4X and Prius, with a similar narrow strip at the front that lights up and a solid taillight. bZ3X is much more spacious, and in the cabin it has a large screen infotainment system, a two-spoke steering wheel and a huge panoramic roof. In addition, both models are "equipped with the latest driver assistance systems," Toyota assures.
