It became known how many cars Ukrainians have already bought and sold through Diya

Ukrainians actively use the Diya application for buying and selling cars. Already 55 thousand vehicles have been re-registered online through this application. This is reported by the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

Cars, motorcycles and mopeds can be re-registered in Diya. For this, the passport and tax number of the participants of the agreement, as well as the car registration certificate, must be displayed in the application. The service is available only to individuals and for the first sale of a vehicle in the current year.

To sell your car through Diya, you should first generate an application, said Iryna Zabolotna, head of the Diya implementation team at the Ministry of Digital Transformation: "When the application is created, you send it to the buyer. This can be done both through a QR code and by sending a link. In turn, the buyer provides additional information. He chooses whether he wants to receive a plastic certificate or whether a digital document in the Diya application will suffice.

After entering the data by both parties, a purchase and sale agreement is formed, an automatic check of databases and registers takes place.

After checking the data, the application may receive a rejection message. The reason can be found out only at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs upon personal application.

The cost of the vehicle re-registration service in Diya and at service centers is the same — 1105 hryvnias, together with the certificate form and license plate.
