The Slovak company Engler Automotive presented its new super quad bike with a 1200-horsepower V12 gasoline engine - the Engler V12.

They plan to produce 13 copies of the Engler V12 annually. The cost of the super quadricycle is not specified. Given that it uses supercar technology and looks like a supercar, the price tag will match. Reported by F1.

At the heart of the Engler V12 is a titanium-reinforced carbon monocoque. Subframes made of titanium, chrome and molybdenum alloy are bolted to it, to which the power unit and suspension are attached. The suspension itself is typically automotive. Front and rear - forged aluminum double wishbones with adjustable shock absorbers.

Brakes – carbon-ceramic Brembo. 410-mm brake discs with 6-piston calipers are installed on the front axle, 390 mm with 4-piston calipers on the rear axle. The wheels are 20-inch magnesium SMW. Tires – Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 (245/30 R 20 front, 305/30 R 20 rear).

Active aerodynamic elements are hidden inside the carbon fiber cladding. The layout of the interior is motorcycle: the passenger sits behind the driver. The saddles are upholstered in Art In Motion leather, which is used in Hermes handbags. A height-adjustable windshield protects the driver and passenger from headwinds. Traction and brake control are transferred to the steering wheel.

The displacement of the V12 engine installed on the rear axle is not updated, as is the manufacturer. It is known that with supercharging it produces 1200 hp, without supercharging - by 500 hp. Less. The motor works in a pair with an 8-speed DCT type automatic gearbox (with two clutches) weighing only 30 kg. It is claimed to be the lightest box of its type in the world. It was developed at the Košice University of Technology, Slovakia.
