In the spring, all pests begin to feed on young weeds, but it is only necessary to plant seedlings as they climb on them. It often happens when, after planting a cabbage seedling in the soil, it becomes all battered, in tiny holes.
Experienced gardeners advise to cover the seedlings with a fine mesh, and it is better to treat them with solutions against insect pests. Do not rush to process with chemicals. Try to fight with folk methods first.
Pour wood ash around the plant. Or make a soap-ash solution and sprinkle the seedlings. Wood ash protects cabbage from cruciferous fleas.
You can also make a vinegar solution to treat seedlings. Dissolve 10 cup of vinegar in 1 liters of water and spray the plants with a spray bottle.
If folk remedies do not help, you can use biological insecticides that are safe for humans and animals.
