The Russian occupiers use repeater drones that transmit signals from the UAV operator's remote control and back, thus increasing the communication range. Serhiy Beskrestnov (Flash), a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a specialist in radio communications, announced this in his Telegram channel yesterday, April 24.

According to the expert, one of the goals of the Russian occupiers is to fly 10-15 kilometers using the height of the repeater. In addition, the occupiers use repeaters to bypass Ukrainian electronic warfare devices.

"The second goal is worse. They are sending repeaters on their way to us and so their FPVs fly through the dome's EW. After all, the distance from the repeater to the FPV is only 1−2 kilometers,” - explained Beskrestnov.

The military also showed a repeater signal on a drone that flew directly over him. It was detected with the help of a radio frequency analyzer.

We will remind you that in February, Ukrainian specialists discovered components of household appliances adapted for the military needs of the Russian Federation. Among those discovered is a motor from a French fan in a Russian aerial bomb, worth 13 euros. Previously, Ukrainians found spare parts from the Czech Republic, Canada, the USA and Switzerland in Shahed-238.
