The Russians may transfer troops withdrawn from Nagorno-Karabakh to Ukraine.
BILD military analyst Julian Ripke thinks so.
The Russian Federation began withdrawing the peacekeeping forces that had been in Karabakh since the fall of 2020 this week. The contingent numbered about 2000 soldiers. Together with heavy equipment, they are taken out of Azerbaijan by rail across the border to Dagestan.
As Repke stated, there are "some fears" that this contingent, including dozens of fairly new BTR-82A, will go to Ukraine.
