The Russians involuntarily donated millions of rubles to the Armed Forces

The local authorities did not like the fact that the residents of Kuzbass, against their own will, were helping to end the war started by the Russian Federation.

Residents of the Kemerovo region of Russia reluctantly donated millions of rubles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The ruling regime of the Russian Federation did not like such monetary "fees".

In particular, against the background of these facts, local governor Serhiy Tsivilyov even recorded a video message to the population of the region.

A Russian official admitted that "the people of Kuzbass (inhabitants of Kuzbass - another name for the region) transferred millions of rubles to the accounts from which the drones and armaments of the Armed Forces are paid."

Tsivilyov also stated that the heads of local administrations have a "personal responsibility" for conducting "explanatory work" among the staff regarding this issue.
