The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation detained the suspect in the bombing of the car of ex-employee of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Prozorov in Moscow. This was reported by the Russian mass media on Monday, April 16.

According to the Russian special services, after the start of the full-scale war, the detainee left for Ukraine, where in October 2023 he was allegedly "recruited by SBU employees." He arrived in Russia in March of this year on the instructions of the curator, who acted on the direct instructions of the head of the SBU Vasyl Malyuk , received components of a radio-controlled explosive device, assembled a bomb and, after reconnaissance in the area of ​​residence of an ex-SBU employee, detonated his car," the FSB said.



Vasyl Prozorov held the position of senior expert consultant at the SBU. A few years ago, he moved to Russia. In 2019, Prozorov gave a press conference in Moscow, where he said that since April 2014 he had been helping the special services of the Russian Federation.
