In Irpen, Kyiv region, a VAZ-2102 with virtually no mileage was discovered, which had been parked in a garage for 50 years. A blogger with the nickname Roma Urraco reported on the unique find, TSN informs.

"The best find of all time: we got into our hands a brand new VAZ-2102 "Deuce" of very early 1972 production with a mileage of only 80 kilometers! The car stood in a garage near Kyiv for 50 years," he said.

According to the blogger, the only trip of the "two" in half a century was a drive to Irpen, after which the car was put in the garage and not used.

"The owner was a doctor. He lived in Irpen and worked in Kyiv. I sold my parents' house and bought a car with the money (recall that cars were very expensive and scarce in the USSR - ed.). He could not drive. She was driven to him from Kyiv. It was like a car dealership. The car sat in the garage for 50 years," the video said.

However, the owner took care of proper storage. The wheels were carefully removed, the suspension was unloaded, and the station wagon was placed on blocks.

Many years of dust were removed from the car, washed, the carburetor was cleaned, the oil in the gearbox was changed, the old gasoline, antifreeze and brake fluid were drained, and the battery was replaced. It is interesting that neither the mirror nor the wipers were ever installed on the car. They remained wrapped in cellophane in the trunk.
