Volkswagen Passat sedan in China will be called Magotan. The fact is that the American VW Passat is also sold there, so they came up with a different name for the model on the European platform. In other countries, it can be sold under the name Passat.
Like the Volkswagen Passat B9 station wagon, the four-door version has profiled sidewalls, but the design of the front part is more aggressive and more faceted. In addition, the sedan is somewhat larger in size.

The interior of the VW Magotan has practically not changed compared to the Passat station wagon. It received a digital instrument panel and a large touchscreen, but the sedan can also be ordered with a third display for the passenger.
Among the options for the Volkswagen Magotan is a projection on the windshield, all-round cameras, ventilation and massage of the front seats. The volume of the trunk is 520 liters.
The Volkswagen Passat B9 sedan debuted with 1,5-liter (160 hp) and 2,0-liter (220 hp) gasoline turbo fours, and a plug-in hybrid may be added later. All versions are equipped with a 7-speed DSG robot.
