Dumplings are familiar to all of us, this is a very simple and ordinary dish. But what if you add a little creativity to it? Today we have prepared a recipe for "Pyramidok" dumplings, which will conquer everyone on the first try.


To prepare these unusual dumplings you will need:

  • Chicken egg - 1 piece
  • Cold water - 100 milliliters
  • Salt - 2 pinches
  • Wheat flour - 300 grams
  • Minced pork - 300 grams
  • Bay leaf - 2-3 pieces

Choose minced meat to your taste: chicken, pork, beef or a mixture of minced meat. In a deep container, break a chicken egg, add salt and cold water. Mix thoroughly and pour in half of the wheat flour. Leave some flour for rolling and pour the rest into the container. Knead a dense, but not stiff dough and cover it with cling film. Let the dough rest for about 20 minutes.



If the minced meat is without onions and spices, add them and mix. Divide the dough into several parts and roll one of them into a thin layer. Cut out circles from the dough, using the neck of a glass or cup, having previously dipped it in flour. Then twist the three sides of the circle to make a triangle.

A new version of dumplings

Roll small dumplings from the minced meat and place them in the middle of the triangles. Glue the edges of the triangles together to make pyramids. Sprinkle the board with flour and place the dumplings on it. Place in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours.



After that, either boil the dumplings or pour them into a bag or container for further storage in the freezer as semi-finished products. Boil water in a pot or cauldron, add a pinch of salt and bay leaves. Gradually lower the dumplings into the boiling water so that the dough boils immediately.

Boil dumplings for about 12-15 minutes on moderate heat. Discard the dumplings in a colander and place on a plate. Serve with sour cream, butter, mayonnaise, vinegar, soy sauce, etc.
