The new Mini Aceman measures 4,07m in length, 1,75m in width and 1,50m in height, making it slightly larger than the Cooper but slightly smaller than the Countryman. First, the model will go on sale in two versions.
The basic version of the E will have an electric motor with a capacity of 184 hp. and 290 Nm of torque. In this version, the new Aceman will be able to cover about 310 km on a single charge, thanks to the 42,5 kWh battery. The crossover in the basic version accelerates to the first hundred in 7,9 seconds and has a maximum speed of 160 km/h.
The top SE version has better dynamics in 7,1 seconds to 100 km/h, thanks to an electric motor with 218 hp and 330 Nm of torque and a battery with a capacity of 54,2 kWh. The projected range is 406 km. The maximum speed is limited to 170 km/h.
The new Mini Aceman has the signature Mini style, but with some unique design elements. The novelty has LED daytime running lights and matrix rear lights that can change the image depending on the selected graphics mode. The driver has a total of three such modes to choose from.
The electric car has many elements that improve its aerodynamics, including flat handlebars and stylish wheels that range in size from 17 to 19 inches, depending on the buyer's preference. The body has black panels, as well as underbody protection.
4 configurations will be available to buyers: Essential, Classic, Favored and JCW. The Classic version will be offered with a two-tone body and mirrors in white or black, while the Favored trim is available with a silver grille and white mirrors.
The Mini Aceman JCW will feature a contrasting red roof that the automaker has dubbed Chili Red, red stripes on the hood and a gloss black grille.
The main decoration of the cabin is a round display with a diameter of 9,5 inches, which serves as the main screen of the Mini OS 9 infotainment system and has support for voice commands. Mini also kept a number of basic switches under the screen, such as: gear selector, stop-start button, parking brake, mode selector and radio volume control.
Aceman also has a panoramic roof and a trunk with a volume of 300 liters. Pricing for the new Mini Aceman will be announced later when the car hits dealerships later this year.
