Neural signals will be interpreted thanks to electromyography. The solution can be integrated with Meta Ray-Ban augmented reality smart glasses. The head of the company believes that these futuristic devices will become available to a wide range of consumers in the next few years and will allow, for example, to print text with the power of thought.

Zuckerberg announced the innovation during an interview with technology entrepreneur Roberto Nixon on YouTube. According to him, the new smart bracelets will use electromyography (EMG) to interpret neural signals sent to the arm and translate them into device commands.

Zuckerberg expressed enthusiasm about the potential of this technology. He said that the company is still at the beginning of the journey, as it has not yet released the first version of the device.

Speaking of potential applications, Zuckerberg mentioned that these interfaces could soon be integrated with Ray-Ban's Meta augmented reality smart glasses. This will improve interaction with the user thanks to the capabilities of multimodal artificial intelligence.
