Mazda presented the EZ-6 electric sedan and the Arata crossover

The first electric car, developed by the Japanese brand together with specialists of the Changan concern, will debut on the Chinese market at the end of this year. Moreover, the novelty will replace the Mazda6 sedan of the current generation. The start of serial production of the conceptual Mazda Arata electric crossover is scheduled for the end of 2025.

Mazda EZ-6 is a rear-wheel drive five-seater sedan. The length of the model was 4921 millimeters. It will be available in fully electric and hybrid versions. In the battery version, the model will be able to drive about 600 kilometers without recharging. In the configuration with an internal combustion engine, the range will exceed a thousand kilometers. The developers have not yet disclosed other parameters of the power plants.

Electric crossover Mazda Arata is still in the development process. As in the case of the EZ-6, the future SUV is being created together with Changan engineers. Visually, the concept car resembles the styling of the CX-5 and CX-30 models. At the same time, the novelty has a futuristic exterior, as well as improved aerodynamics. The company did not disclose any details of the prospective project.

In mid-April, Mazda officially presented the new CX-80 crossover. The three-row model was developed for the European market.
