The Canadian company offered half the price for MRAP armored vehicles than Germany

Ukraine did not receive the promised 400 armored vehicles due to the negligence of Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft (FFG). We will remind that the government of Germany financed the purchase of 400 armored vehicles for Ukraine, which were never purchased.

The fact is that the delivery of up to 400 mine-protected vehicles (MRAPs) has been delayed for several months due to insufficient mine protection certificates and lack of export permits.

At the time when the German company disrupted the supply of equipment, a Canadian competitor offered its help in this matter:

"After reading your recent article about the German Ministry of Defense's current procurement of equipment, I felt the need to share information about our MRAPs, which I believe are a much better alternative."

The CEO of the Canadian company, Roman Shimonov, notes that the delivery of 400 armored vehicles by their production would not only be faster, on time and in full compliance with the order specification, but also "twice cheaper" than the German competitor "FFG" and its American supplier "TAG".

The Canadian company offered a price of up to 375 euros for one MRAP. Currently, the company has 000 units of the new Senator MRAP in stock, which can be immediately delivered to Ukraine. The equipment plan per month is 100 Senator armored vehicles.

At a time when the Canadian company offers up to 375 euros for one MRAP, the German FFG would charge 000 euros, which is unreasonably expensive.

Despite being half the price, Canadian Senators meet NATO STANAG 4569 level 2 for ballistics and levels 3A, 2b and 2c with 25 kg of TNT.
