Mini has finally released a new electric car called the Aceman, which will take a place between the Cooper and the Countryman in the company's model line. Aceman is a completely new model for the brand, but it remains unclear in which markets the novelty will be sold.
It is known that the automaker will initially offer the Aceman in E and SE variants. E is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 184 horsepower, with which the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7,9 seconds and develops a maximum speed of 160 km/h thanks to a battery with a capacity of 42,5 kWh.
The SE version has a larger power plant - 218 hp. and a battery with a capacity increased to 54,2 kWh. Thanks to a more powerful engine, the electric hatchback can accelerate from a standstill to the first hundred in 7,1 seconds.
The less powerful variant of the electric car can travel up to 472 km on a single charge of the traction battery, while buyers of the SE variant can expect only 405 km. It is noted that the SE modification also supports fast charging with a capacity of up to 95 kW.
It is known that Mini will offer the Aceman in four configurations: Essential, Classic, Favored and JCW. Customers can choose the Aceman Classic with a contrasting roof and black or white mirrors, a bumper in body color and a glossy radiator grille. The Favored variant is available with a Multitone roof, silver grille surround and white mirror housings. The JCW received a distinctive design at the front and rear, a contrasting Chili Red roof, red stripes on the hood and a gloss black grille surround.
An OLED screen with a diameter of 9,5 inches was registered inside the car. It runs Mini OS 9. The top of the circular screen displays temperature and important driving information such as speed and battery charge. The lower fixed area of the display contains navigation, media and phone controls.
