Ukrainian scouts together with servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the newest Russian radar station "Podlet". This was reported in the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense.
Successful fire damage was inflicted on the antenna-feeder installation and the diesel station that fed the complex. According to the GUR, the specified system was used by the enemy to detect and transmit target coordinates to the Russian S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems.
The "Podlet" radar is a relatively new Russian development - it began to be supplied to the Russian army in 2015. The cost of such a station is more than 700 million rubles (over 5 million dollars).
