British volunteers brought 30 pickup trucks equipped with generators and medical supplies to the Lviv region for the Ukrainian military.
Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv OVA, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"30 off-road vehicles are a gift for our soldiers from caring people in Great Britain. This time, about 50 Britons dared to cover many kilometers to personally deliver this transport as part of farmer Mark Laird's "Pickups for Peace" initiative. The SUVs were equipped with generators and medicines," Kozytskyi wrote.
He noted that in accordance with the requests that the military formations sent to the Lviv OVA, the cars were handed over to the defenders of the 24th OMbr named after King Danylo, to the 150 training center of the Command of the Forces TrO of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to the Air Command "West" of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces - to reinforce mobile fire groups. which shoot down enemy rockets and "Shahedy" over the Lviv region.
"I thank Markov Laird, a great friend of our region, who has been supporting the ZSU since 2014. Over the past year, together with his friends, he and his friends have handed over 330 off-road vehicles to Ukrainian soldiers, which help them move off-road, evacuate the wounded and save the most valuable thing - the lives of our people," added the head of the region.
