Boji is a stray dog who learned to ride the subway, tram or ferry on his own. Every day, this dog brings joy to passengers who are in a hurry on business.

Istanbul's Department of Public Transport spotted a large dog traveling on buses, trams, subways and even ferries. The dog, which they have named Boji, seems to know exactly where he is going every time he gets on or off a train.

"Two months ago, we noticed a dog using trams, subways and trains, and he knows where to go and knows where to get off," said Eileen Erol, head of customer service at Metro Istanbul. "It was quite interesting and we started following the dog. It was a really interesting pattern. The dog knows exactly where to go and has a goal."

Boji was picked up by public transport staff last year and taken to the vet for a check-up. Boji also received a microchip that is connected to a mobile app, allowing Metro Istanbul's customer service department to monitor his location and well-being.

Boji's frequent travels made him a public transport celebrity. When he's not napping on a tram seat, rushing a train or enjoying the breeze on a ferry, he's always happy to pose for selfies with passengers and get treats.

Boji is a good boy, he has proven himself to be a very polite and cultured passenger.

Boji knows all the rules of travel, gives way to passengers, waits, enters the train and calmly finds his seat.

According to the tracker, Boji visits 29 stations and drives approximately 29 kilometers per day in the city. Fortunately, the dog doesn't have to pay the fare, because he would definitely go broke!
