The Ukrainian military attacked one of the newest radar stations of the Russian army "Podlyot", the cost of which is more than 5 million dollars

"The GUR group of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Gusy-9 together with the servicemen of the 15th ObrAR Black Forest detected and hit the Russian 48Я6 K-1 Podlyot radar. A successful fire damage was inflicted on the antenna-feeder installation and the diesel station that supplied the complex," the message reads.
It is indicated that Podlyot is a relatively new Russian radar. It began to be supplied to the Russian army in 2015. The cost of the station is over 700 million rubles. At the current exchange rate, this is approximately $7,6 million.
This system was used by the enemy to detect and transmit target coordinates to the S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems.
