The US lost its third MQ-9 Reaper in the Yemen area
Iran-backed Houthi rebels claim they shot down the American drone.
The US Air Force MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance and attack drone, worth up to 30 million, crashed off the coast of Yemen in the morning, on Friday, April 26. CBS News reported this the day before.

However, the Iran-backed Houthi rebels claim that they shot down the drone.

Houthi spokesman Yahya Sarea said that the Panamanian-flagged tanker belongs to Great Britain. However, according to LSEG and Ambrey, it was recently sold. The current owner of the tanker is registered in the Seychelles, the vessel is engaged in trade related to Russia. According to Ambrey, it was on its way from Primorsk, Russia to Vadinar, India.
