Chery presented the new Tiggo 9 PHEV at the Beijing Motor Show. The model has a total range of 1400 km.

Chery says the crossover's hybrid setup is a 2,0-liter forced-induction engine paired to an eight-speed automatic. The power is 235 hp. and 385 Nm. As reported, the electric motor supports the revolutions of the internal combustion engine and is capable of generating up to 221 hp.

There are no data on the dynamics of the car, but the automaker stated that the fuel consumption is about 5,2 liters per 100 km, and the total range is 1400 km, Channel 24 informs.

Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV has the recognizable design of the Chinese automaker's line of crossovers, but stands out among others with several unique design elements, in particular - a new closed radiator grille and 20-size wheels.



In the cabin, the crossover has a 15,6-inch infotainment system that is integrated with the instrument panel. The PHEV version is 4820 mm long, 1930 mm wide and 1699 mm tall. The wheelbase is 2820 mm.



More detailed information about the new crossover will be revealed later, when the cars go on sale. The Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV will be assembled at the Anhui plant in China.
