In order to fall asleep faster and get a good night's sleep, it is not at all necessary to buy an expensive mattress or "high-tech pajamas". It is enough to follow simple tips. Three of them were voiced by the American neurologist, somnologist Chris Winter. This is coolness in the room, compliance with the regime, mini-meditation.
The temperature in the room
As Chris Winter told in an interview with Men's Health magazine, sometimes the first of them is enough - lowering the temperature in the bedroom before going to bed. Ventilation, coolness will help you fall asleep faster and sleep better.
Compliance with the regime
The human body works better if you follow the regimen. Having a constant schedule of going to sleep and waking up will program the brain, and insomnia can go away on its own. Small household rituals before bed, such as brushing teeth, are also useful for this.
Meditation
Chris Winter talked about the results of one study in which people were given a hypnotic instruction to "sleep better" and it really helped. The doctor advises to do something similar for yourself: repeat such a mantra for some time before falling asleep.
