How to do it
So you have a jar that needs to be placed in a pan of cold water. It must be completely immersed in the liquid. Turn on the maximum heat and bring to a boil.
As soon as it starts to boil, you need to reduce the heat. Cook the condensed milk for 3 hours. The fire should be medium. Just watch for the water to bubble little by little. Cover with a lid, but not tightly. It is better that it is open.
Why do banks sometimes explode? Because the water boils. And this is a mistake. The water should completely cover them. Only in this case can the safety of the process be guaranteed. If there is less water, just add boiling water.
Please note that the cans should not be allowed to boil strongly. Do everything right, then it will be safe and tasty. Check the water level every 30 minutes.
