Eyewitnesses filmed a herd of goats invading a residential area.

As it turned out later, the goats were brought to San Jose specifically to eat the vegetation on the hillside - it was dangerous from the point of view of a possible fire.

However, one goat made a hole in the fence, and the herd quickly dispersed into the surrounding areas. In the end, local resident Zach Rowlands, who took the video, and his father had to work hard to get the herd back together. After the flood, manure remained on the streets, and some bushes lost their flowers and leaves.

In recent years, when many regions of the planet are facing the consequences of global warming, "fire brigades" of goats and sheep come to the rescue. Dry brush, grass, and undergrowth are prone to catching fire quickly, so many farmers use an old village tradition — keeping herds of goats that help clear forests and districts of old grass.

According to Oriol Vilalt, head of the Spanish fire prevention fund Pau Costa Foundation, goats can be called real firefighters, because they eat the undergrowth, which not only spreads the fire, but also ignites it in the first place.
