A wild ram was caught in Australia, which, apparently, escaped from its owners and grew 35 and a half kilograms of wool.

A local resident spotted the ram and reported it to the shelter farm, where injured animals are usually taken out. It is located 60 kilometers north of Melbourne.

The lamb was named Baarak. After his arrest, 35,4 kilograms of wool was cut from him - half the weight of an adult kangaroo.

On the farm, they believe that Baarak once escaped from his owners: after cutting his ear, a hole for a tag was discovered.

Being able to live independently, sheep can become overgrown to such an extent that it is difficult for them to move. As they said at the farm, Baarak could barely see what was happening around him when he was detained, and he weighed less than normal.
