On March 27, around 8:15 a.m., the police received a report about the sounds of gunshots and the alleged wounding of a person in the courtyard of a high-rise building in the regional center.
As reported by the National Police of the Zhytomyr Region, investigative and operational groups of the Zhytomyr District Police Department and the Zhytomyr Oblast State Police Department arrived at the scene of the incident.
A 43-year-old man from Zhytomyr with a probable gunshot wound was found inside the car. He was trained.
Currently, the police are conducting measures to identify and detain the persons involved in the incident. Elucidation of all circumstances is ongoing.
"On the morning of March 27, the sounds of shots were heard in the Poleva microdistrict in Zhytomyr - the police and an ambulance arrived at the scene. Local resident Oksana Trokoz, who was passing by, told about it," Suspilne informs.
