The unique "Zaporozhets" ZAZ-968ME went to the "Wheels of History" museum for exhibition. The model was recently found and immediately sent to the technical museum.
ZAZ-968ME appeared in 1981 and was immediately purchased by a resident of Oleksandria, in the Kirovohrad region. Despite its solid age, the car is in excellent condition. The body has no rust, and the original color is "ochre" without a single scratch. The car has 62 km on its odometer.
Under the hood of the car is a 45-horsepower engine with a capacity of 40 hp. This model was produced exclusively for export. For the first time, the 45-horsepower export version appeared on the "early" ZAZ-968, which was produced from 1970 to 1972. Later, a 50-horsepower version of the "emka" was also produced for export. This model already required the owner to use 95 gasoline.
