This salad with Beijing cabbage and cheese will easily become the star of your festive table. It is very fresh, juicy and has a rich taste.
Greek salad is one of the most famous salads, which has millions of connoisseurs. Even this classic salad can be made even more interesting and tastier. Try making this dish with the addition of Chinese cabbage, and replace the feta with cheese. The salad turns out to be more airy and light, and its taste is unsurpassed.
Necessary ingredients:
- Beijing cabbage - 700 g;
- cucumbers - 2 pcs.;
- tomatoes - 2 pc.;
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 pcs.;
- red onion - 1 pc.;
- olives - 10 pcs.;
- cheese - 200 g;
- salt and pepper to taste.
For the filling:
- oil - 70 ml;
- juice of half a lemon;
- Provencal herbs - 1 tsp;
- garlic - 1 cloves.
Method of cooking:
First, let's prepare the filling. Mix oil, lemon juice, dry Provencal herbs and squeezed clove of garlic in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
Cut the cheese into large cubes and pour the prepared dressing. Leave the cheese in the sauce while we prepare the main ingredients.
Chop the Beijing cabbage not very finely. We use only the green part. Transfer the cabbage to a salad bowl. Cut the red onion into thin half rings and add to the cabbage. Cucumbers, tomatoes and pepper are cut into large cubes and sent to a salad bowl. The salad will look more spectacular if you use vegetables of different colors: green cucumbers, red tomatoes and yellow peppers. Cut the olives in half and add to the salad.
Salt and pepper the salad. Mix all the ingredients. Place pieces of cheese on top of the salad and pour over the dressing.
