So, the Ford Explorer can already be bought in the Extended Range version, where the power plant provides a return of 282 horsepower, and the 77 kWh battery allows you to travel about 602 km. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 6,4 seconds.
The model has a more powerful variation. It is about Extended Range AWD. In this case, it is equipped with a two-motor unit with a capacity of 335 hp. The battery is installed at 79 kWh. However, the range is slightly less - 529 km.
In general, Ford offers a well-equipped car that can successfully compete with models from Volkswagen and Tesla. True, so far it is inferior to them in terms of price, but a more attractively priced version will be available next month.
