Tender barbecue of pork ribs in an original marinade

Pork ribs are suitable not only for stewing and baking in the oven - they can also be used to prepare delicious kebabs. The meat on the pork ribs is quite tender and fatty, thanks to which the kebab turns out to be soft and juicy. How to prepare a marinade for a delicious kebab from ribs - we will tell you later.


For the marinade for 2 kg of pork ribs, you will need the following ingredients:

  • Onion - 500 grams
  • Kefir 2.5% - 500 ml
  • Soy sauce - 50 ml
  • Ground ginger - 1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander and rosemary seeds - 1/2 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.

Preparation:

Wash the pork ribs well and remove the film from the inside. If there is a lot of fat on the meat, cut it with a knife. Then cut the ribs along the bones and put them in a large container.



Peel the onion and cut it into half rings. Crush it a little with your hands until the onion juice is released and transfer it to the meat.

In a separate bowl, mix kefir, salt, soy sauce and all the spices. Pour the mixture over the ribs, mix and leave to marinate in a cold place for 5-6 hours. The younger the meat, the less time it will take to marinate it. Before grilling the ribs, it is necessary to take them out of the refrigerator and let them stand at room temperature. That is, they should not be cold before frying.



Serve ready ribs with pickled onions and vegetables. And as a drink, delicious kvass or cold beer will go well with them.
