Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia
The temporary chargé d'affaires of the Russian Embassy Oleg Zykov was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, where he was protested in connection with unacceptable and provocative public communication.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia declared the Russian diplomat persona non grata. European Truth writes about this with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.
"On March 27, 2024, the charge d'affaires of the Russian Embassy Oleg Zykov was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, where he was given the strongest protest... in connection with the unacceptable and provocative public communication conducted by the embassy for a long period of time, which grossly contradicts the letter and spirit of the Vienna Convention ..." the message says.
It is noted that despite repeated reprimands from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian Embassy continues its activities aimed at discrediting Latvian state institutions and authorities and inciting enmity in Latvian society.
It was recently reported that Austria declared two diplomats from the Russian Federation persona non grata. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country made such a decision after the material appeared in the local mass media about their involvement with Russian intelligence.
